Tom Ferro M.D.

Tom Ferro MD serves as the Vice President and Head of Medical Affairs for North America at SUN PHARMA since February 2023. Prior to this role, Tom held various leadership positions in medical affairs, including Head of Respiratory US Medical at Sanofi and Vice President of Medical focusing on NASH at Intercept Pharmaceuticals. Additional experience includes leading global medical strategy for tezacaftor/ivacaftor at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and progressively responsible roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals and GSK. Tom's early career includes a professorship at McGuire VAMC and VCU School of Medicine. Tom's academic background consists of a BA and MD in Biology and Medicine from institutions including Fordham Prep, Penn, Stony Brook, and Washington University in St. Louis.
