Valentina Curovic-Perisic

Valentina Curovic-Perisic has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Valentina currently holds the role of Vice President - Head of Clinical Operations at SUN PHARMA since 2022. Before that, they were the Director - Clinical Management at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, Valentina worked at Novartis for many years, starting as a Sr. Clinical Research Scientist in 2004 and gradually progressing to roles such as Clinical Research Manager, Clinical Trial Head, Global Clinical Operations - Sr. Clinical Operations Manager, Associate Director - Senior Global Trials Leader, Director - Global Clinical Operations Leader, and Development Unit Head - Trial Operations Management (TOM) Pharma. Valentina was responsible for leading teams, overseeing trial operations, ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements, and delivering high-quality trial conduct. Valentina's earlier work experience includes a role as a Clinical and Project Coordinator at Asahi Kasei America, Inc. from 1996 to 2004.

Valentina Curovic-Perisic holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University (1992-1996). Valentina also obtained a Certification in ACDRS - American Course on Drug Development and Regulatory Science from the University of California, San Francisco (2011-2013). In addition, they hold a Master of Science (MS) in Health Care Management from the College of Saint Elizabeth (2010-2013). Recently, they obtained a Certification in Balanced Scorecard Professional from the Balanced Scorecard Institute and The George Washington University Center for Excellence in Public Leadership (2021).
