Asha Soman is currently a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Calpine Group, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Software Engineer at SBL from 2018-2021. From 2015-2018, they served as a Software Test Engineer at Sun Telematics Pvt Ltd., where they were responsible for analyzing functional requirements and translating them to test cases, performing smoke testing, component testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing, and compatibility testing. asha was also proficient in developing, maintaining, and executing test cases for different black box testing methodologies. From 2012-2015, Asha was a Software Test Engineer at Binary Guru Pvt Ltd., where they were responsible for understanding the application thoroughly with help of customer requirement specification documents, identifying E2E scenarios, and writing test cases for different methodologies. asha also performed build verification, component, integration, and E2E testing. Asha's career in software testing began in 2009 when they were a Software Test Engineer at BKCC India Pvt Ltd.

Asha Soman completed their SSLC at JMHSS, Tirur in 2001-2002. asha then went on to complete their HSC at NMHSS, Tirunavaya in 2002-2004. Finally, they earned their M.Sc in Software Systems from CMS College, Coimbatore from 2004-2009.
