Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation
Mackenzie Price is an Upper School English Teacher at Sun Valley Community School, where responsibilities include teaching 10th grade British and World Literature, serving as a Writing Across the Curriculum Instructor, and offering various electives such as Multicultural Literature and Revisions in Literature. Additionally, Mackenzie works as a Residential Advisor, providing tutoring and organizing outdoor trips for boarders, and previously served as a Teaching Associate, gaining experience in middle and upper school English courses. As a Coach for the U10 and U12 alpine ski team at the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation, Mackenzie focuses on developing young athletes' technical skills and fostering a love for skiing. Past roles include a Communications Intern at the Sun Valley Institute and a Student Coordinator at the UW Waterfront Activities Center. Mackenzie holds a degree in English with a minor in Political Science from the University of Washington.

The Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation provides year-round ski and snowboard training and competitive opportunities for Wood River Valley youth. Our team philosophy is implemented by both identifying with our incredible heritage as a community (25 Winter Olympians) and innovating to meet the changing demands of our society. OUR MISSION: To provide exceptional snowsport programs for the youth of the Wood River Valley thereby enabling each participant to reach their athletic potential, while developing strong personal character through good sportsmanship, strong values, and individual goals.
