Wes Powell has extensive experience in coaching and site supervision. Since 2005, Wes Powell has served as a coach at the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation, contributing to the development of athletes in a competitive environment. Prior to this role, Wes Powell worked as a site superintendent at Lee Gilman Builders from 2002 until April 2013, where responsibilities included overseeing construction projects and ensuring their successful completion.

The Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation provides year-round ski and snowboard training and competitive opportunities for Wood River Valley youth. Our team philosophy is implemented by both identifying with our incredible heritage as a community (25 Winter Olympians) and innovating to meet the changing demands of our society. OUR MISSION: To provide exceptional snowsport programs for the youth of the Wood River Valley thereby enabling each participant to reach their athletic potential, while developing strong personal character through good sportsmanship, strong values, and individual goals.
