Melinda Danziger

Melinda Danziger is a solar engineer trainee at SUNation Energy as of December 2023, bringing extensive experience in the solar industry. Previously, Melinda held various roles at Long Island Power Solutions from November 2018 to November 2023, including solar design, where design skills were applied using AutoCAD and other design tools, and residential technical support, providing assistance and troubleshooting for solar installations. Melinda's background also includes owning Home Comfort Labs, LLC, which focused on HERS and Energy Star certifications, as well as work as a solar process administrator at Solar Windependence and a HERS rater and BPI auditor contractor at North Fork Retrofit Solar Options. Melinda's earlier experiences include positions at H2M and the New York Department of Environmental Preservation, along with environmental technician work at CDI Inc. Academic credentials include a BS in Chemistry from Stony Brook University and numerous certifications related to energy efficiency and building science.
