Brent Smith

Brent Smith has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Brent began their career as a Business Graduate at Balfour Beatty Plant & Fleet Services in 2007, where they worked until 2009. In 2009, they joined Balfour Beatty Rail as a Depot Manager, responsible for the delivery of small plant contracts. Brent later became a Business Manager at the same company, overseeing an operation and maintenance contract with Network Rail. In 2014, Brent joined A-Plant as the Head of Operations for PSS Hire, and later became the Operations Director. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Council Member at UKSTT. Since 2019, they have been working at Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland, first as the Managing Director for Utilities, and currently as the Director for Facilities Management Solutions.

Brent Smith obtained a Diploma in First Line Management from the Chartered Management Institute in 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management & Computing from Loughborough University between 2003 and 2007.
