Gus Cedeño has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Gus began their career at PDVSA Petrόleos de Venezuela S.A., where they served as a Supervisor for Engineering/Services for offshore gas compression projects. After that, they joined Wood Group and held various positions such as Lead Project Engineer, Business Development Manager, VP Technical Services, and Commercial Director for the Americas. At Eaton Corporation, they served as Vice President, responsible for top-line performance and the development of marketing and operational strategies. Gus then became the President & CEO of Caterpillar Inc., overseeing all operations associated with manufacturing paralleling switchgear and automatic transfer switches. Most recently, Gus has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer of SAE Towers, a leading international power transmission company. Throughout their career, they have consistently delivered strong results, including turning around operations, achieving double-digit growth in sales and profit, and successfully deploying new products and services.
Gus Cedeño obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University Polytechnic Institute of the Armed Forces, attending from 1984 to 1988. Gus later pursued an MBA in International Business at the University of Houston from 2001 to 2002.
