Zain Ali PhD.

Zain Ali PhD. has an extensive work experience spanning from 2007 to 2022. In 2007, they were the CIO at Global 360, where they set up an IT Organization to support internal and external clients on a global basis. In 2008, they joined The Hackett Group as Senior Director of the Southwest Region, responsible for sales and delivery of Business Advisory, Benchmarking, and Business Transformation clients. In 2015, they founded Azvantage, a company focused on helping clients get to the next level in areas such as Strategy, Leadership, Sales, and Teamwork. Zain also served as Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas at Dallas, Consultant and Professor at Professional Development Institute, and Instructor at SMU Cox School of Business--MBA Business Leadership Center. In 2017, they joined Ascend North Texas as Board Member. In 2019, they joined the University of North Texas at Frisco as Clinical Professor and Director of Graduate Studies, and later as Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of PDA/Graduate Programs. In 2022, they will join Texas Christian University as Associate Professor of Professional Practice.

Zain Ali PhD. began their educational journey in 1984 when they attended Wichita State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) in 1989. Zain then continued their studies at Wichita State University and obtained a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering (MSIE) in 1992. In 2014, they earned a Certificate from GS10K Small Business in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Most recently, Zain Ali PhD. is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in EdTech from the University of North Texas College of Information, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
