Sonia Goodwin, CDFM, FACHE has extensive experience in healthcare management. Sonia served as the Chief Operations Officer at Suncoast Community Health Centers, Inc. from 2011 to the present. In this role, they represented the CEO and the organization at community functions.
Prior to that, Sonia worked at MacDill Air Force Base for over 30 years. Sonia held various roles within the Medical Group from 1978 to 2010. In 2000, they became the Director of Analysis at MacDill AFB Hospital, a position they held until 2010.
Sonia Goodwin, CDFM, FACHE, holds an MBA in Health Care Management which they obtained from Touro University International from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they earned a BA in Business Administration from St. Leo University, graduating in 1984 after studying from 1983 to 1984.

Walk-ins are triaged or screened and seen by the provider dependent on the urgency of the chief complaint. Walk Ins are also now available for patients with acute minor illness.
