David Schwake

David Schwake has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies. David started their career in Quantum Chemical Company as a Cooperative Engineer, where they analyzed system performance data and performed detailed material balances. David then joined Koch Industries as a Staff Process Engineer and later became a Senior Operations Engineer Supervisor and Gasoline Operations Supervisor, responsible for daily unit optimization and equipment health monitoring.

David then moved to Sunoco, where they held several managerial roles including Manager Northeast Strategic Business and Manager Economics and Planning. David also worked as a Senior Consultant and Lead Technical Service Engineering during their time in Sunoco.

Currently, David is working in SunCoke Energy as a Director of Asset Optimization, leading a team of program managers and technical resources in identifying opportunities and managing a multi-million dollar Capital Projects Portfolio. David has also served as Director of Engineering and Project Development and Director of Business Development in the company. Overall, David has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in engineering, project development, and business development throughout their career.

David Schwake received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University. David attended the university from 1991 to 1994.
