Ali Siddiqui

Ali Siddiqui, E.I.T is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, completed in 2022. Currently serving as a Process and Contact Engineer in Training at Suncor since January 2023, Ali previously held multiple roles at Suncor, including as a Process Safety Engineering Student, where contributions included process improvement recommendations and support during equipment maintenance and turnaround events. Previous experience includes a Field Project Engineering Student role at PCL Construction, where tasks involved supporting multidisciplinary teams, conducting site safety inspections, and managing project documentation, as well as a Project Engineering Student position at Syncrude Canada Ltd., focusing on project approval deliverables and contractor coordination. Additionally, in an early role as a Program Developer at the University of Alberta, Ali developed a management tool for tracking course enrollment in Mechanical Engineering streams.
