Lubo Iliev

Lubo Iliev is an experienced professional in project control and construction management with notable expertise in energy and automation projects. Currently serving as the Director of Project Control for the Coke Boiler Replacement Project at Suncor, Lubo oversees the transition from aging petroleum coke-fired boilers to two efficient natural gas cogeneration units, which will significantly benefit Alberta's power grid. Prior roles include Director of Field Technical, Construction Technology and Productivity, and Director of Strategic Development at Bantrel, along with positions as Project Estimator at IMV Projects and Project Control Manager at Prosys. Lubo began a career as a QA/QC Manager at Genmark Automation and as an Automation Engineer. Education credentials include a Master's Degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the Technical University of Sofia, as well as recent studies at Harvard Business School.
