Mark Fleming

Mark Fleming is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Contact Engineering Manager at Suncor since 2012, Mark has held multiple leadership roles, including Sr Advisor for Technology Deployment & Acceleration and Program Manager for the Safety in Transition Program. Mark has successfully managed significant projects, such as the $14.3 billion Fort Hills Project and the commissioning of a $400 million Hot Bitumen Terminal. Prior experience includes a managerial role in Production Planning & Economics at Husky Energy and various engineering positions at Suncor Energy and INEOS, highlighting expertise in process engineering, continuous improvement, and safety management. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
