Rod Daniels

Rod Daniels is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in safety and environmental management, currently serving as a Senior Specialist in Safety Performance at Suncor since February 2006. Daniels has held various leadership roles, including the Director of Field and Incident Learning in Operational Risk Management, where responsibilities included developing Human and Organizational Performance initiatives and managing significant incident investigations. Daniels also played a critical role in the implementation of Suncor's Operational Excellence Management System and led the strategic integration of Life Cycle Value Assessment methodology. Prior to Suncor, Daniels worked at AMEC as a Senior Environmental Project Manager and at Parsons Brinckerhoff as an Intermediate Environmental Scientist. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Hydrogeology from the University of Melbourne and a Project Management certification from Mount Royal University.
