Jarrod Blomberg

Jarrod Blomberg has over two decades of experience in the data engineering and business intelligence sectors. Currently serving as the Data Engineering Area Chapter Lead at Suncorp Group since August 2000, Jarrod has held various roles including Technical Manager, Principal Architect for Data Strategy & Architecture, and Business Intelligence Architect, focusing on design, development, and mentoring in the BI and Data Warehouse domain. Jarrod's technical expertise includes working with Netezza, IBM DB2, WhereScape RED, and Cognos Report Studio within AIX environments. Prior to Suncorp, Jarrod held developer positions at Coles Myer, Hansen Corporation, and Target Australia. Jarrod's educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Swinburne University of Technology and an Associate Diploma of Applied Physics and Computing from Box Hill College of Tafe.
