Katherine Carmody

Katherine Carmody is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in digital transformation and eCommerce within the financial services industry. Currently serving as Executive General Manager - Digital Insurer Transformation and Executive General Manager - Digital Distribution at Suncorp Group since October 2005, Katherine is responsible for designing and delivering transformative digital strategies and products that enhance customer engagement and drive sales. Previous roles at Suncorp include Head of Digital Marketplace and Head of Ecommerce, where Katherine led the initiative to create a comprehensive digital ecosystem across multiple brands. Katherine also has experience in product development and profitability management with AAMI Motor Insurance and held marketing roles at Commonwealth Bank. In addition to professional roles, Katherine serves as a Director on the Board of Shannons Auctions and as an Executive Director for Australian Pensioners Insurance Agency. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from Queensland University of Technology and completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2023.
