Abby Groves

Abby Groves has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in the field of hospice care. Abby began their career as a Hospice Care Consultant at Iowa Hospice by Harden Healthcare in 2010, where they worked until 2013. Abby then joined Saint Croix Hospice, previously named Saint Jude Hospice, as a Hospice Liaison in 2013 and stayed until 2014. Following this, Groves worked at Gentiva Health Services, an Affiliate of Kindred at Home previously named Iowa Hospice, as a Hospice Specialist from 2014 to 2015. Currently, they are working at Suncrest Hospice since 2015, first as a Hospice Liaison and currently as the Area Director of Business Development. In their role at Suncrest Hospice, they are responsible for generating referrals and educating families and healthcare providers about the benefits of hospice care.

Abby Groves received their Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from Kirkwood Community College from 2006 to 2008. Abby then pursued further education at the University of Northern Iowa, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services from 2008 to 2010.
