George K. Mwangi

George K. Mwangi has a diverse work experience. George started their career as a Geographic Information Systems Technician at Kenya Power in February 2015, where they produced detailed maps for power distribution. In March 2016, they joined SunCulture as a Field Engineer, responsible for developing technical specifications for solar PV projects. George then transitioned to a role as a Research and Development Engineer from February 2019 to March 2020, conducting engineering tests and assisting in research. Currently, George is working as an Engineering Team Lead at SunCulture, where they train and mentors a competent workforce to meet project needs.

George K. Mwangi earned a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental and Biosystems Engineering from the University of Nairobi, where they attended from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Kianyaga High School from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Graduate Engineer from the Engineers Board of Kenya and a Solar PV Technician License from the Energy & Petroleum Regulatory Authority.
