Daljit Nijjar is an accomplished leader in education and retail management, currently serving as the Director of Education & Student Services at Sundance College since July 2022. In this role, Daljit oversees multiple teams comprising Education Leaders, Educators, and Administrative & Career Services professionals. Prior to this position, Daljit was the General Manager of Retail at Sears Canada from September 2010 to March 2019, where responsibilities included executive leadership focused on developing people leaders and enhancing business performance, as well as implementing operational excellence strategies and structuring human resources initiatives aligned with corporate vision and culture. Daljit holds a Master's degree in Economics from Guru Nanak Dev University, obtained between 1995 and 2000, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same institution, earned between 1992 and 1995, along with additional education from TATA INFOTECH from 1998 to 1999.
