Shankar Viswanathan

Shankar Viswanathan is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in IT leadership and consulting. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer and Information Communication Technology Advisor at Sundaram Clayton Limited since December 2019, Shankar is focused on formulating long-term technology transformation strategies. Previous experience includes a role as a Management Advisor for a travel technology company and a tenure as CEO in IT consulting projects across various domains including Real Estate, Finance, and Retail. Shankar has held prominent positions at Computer Sciences Corporation as VP, Covansys as EVP, and Syntel as General Manager, along with earlier roles in information systems and analysis. Educational qualifications include an Executive Leadership degree from Cornell University and a Six Sigma Blackbelt certification, among other advanced degrees.
