Ippei Shimamura has an extensive work experience, starting in 1996 with K.K. Ashisuto where they served as a Technical support, field support and performance consultant until 2001. Ippei then joined Tokyo Electron where they worked as a Technical Lead, responsible for starting up the software business unit and introducing the world's first commercial In-Memory Database product, TimesTen, to the Japanese market. Ippei successfully acquired customers in various industries such as Telecom, Digital Media, Financial, and Transportation. In 2006, Shimamura joined Tokyo Electron Device, Ltd. as a Senior Technical Manager until 2008. Ippei then worked at Netezza as a Pre-Sales SE from 2008 to 2012. At IBM, they served as a Pre-Sales SE from February 2012 to November 2012. From November 2012 to February 2015, they worked at Domo, Inc. as a Senior Solution Consultant. In March 2015, Shimamura joined SundaySky as a Success Manager, managing Sales, Pre-Sales, BizDev, Analytics, and Support for the Japan Team. Ippei later became the Japan Country Manager and Head of Client Services, leveraging their Personalized Video Platform to engage customers on an individual level.
Ippei Shimamura obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Information from Keio University, completing their education from 1992 to 1996.
