Robin Nicholls currently serves as the Academy Manager at Sunderland AFC, overseeing the strategic leadership and daily operations of the EPPP Category One Academy since December 2022. Prior to this role, Nicholls spent nearly seven years at Southampton Football Club in various positions, including Head of Academy Operations and Assistant Academy Manager, where responsibilities encompassed the management of the U9-18 Academy programme and Phase (U12-14) football operations. With a solid foundation in sports management, Nicholls holds a Master's degree from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Bath. Additional experiences include coaching roles at universities and professional clubs, contributing significantly to youth soccer development and recruitment.
