Birger Lindberg Møller is Professor of Plant Biochemistry, University of Copenhagen and Distinguished Professor at the Carlsberg Laboratory.
His research is focused on the role of bio-active natural products in plant growth and development and in resistance to abiotic and biotic stresses.
A significant interest, within the Center for Synthetic Biology, is engineering microalgae, mosses and plant cells into production units for high value natural products. He is an elected member of the Royal Danish Academy of Science and Letters and member of the International Human Rights Network of Academic and Scholarly Societies, Washington.
