S.M. Sabapathi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. S.M. has worked as a VP-IT at Sundram Fasteners Limited since October 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President at TVS Infotech from September 2015 to September 2017. From March 2012 to September 2015, they were employed as the Head of IT at EID PARRY (INDIA) LTD. Before that, they worked as an IT Project Manager at TransAD from June 2009 to July 2011. S.M. Sabapathi spent a significant portion of their career at ETA ASCON Group from January 2001 to February 2009, where they held the position of AGM IT. S.M. has also worked at Murugappa Group, where they served as a Senior Manager, Manager, and Deputy Manager from March 1990 to March 2001. Additionally, they worked as an ERP Architect at ETA ASCON & TI Cycles of India from January 1999 to January 2001.
S.M. Sabapathi attended PSG College of Technology from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Later, from 1988 to 1990, they pursued an M.Tech degree in Industrial Management at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
