Mary Zappone

Mary Zappone is a seasoned executive with extensive leadership experience in various industries. Currently serving as CEO and Board Director at Sundyne since July 2021, Zappone leads a global manufacturer of precision-engineered centrifugal pumps and compressors. In addition, Zappone is a Board Member at Axalta since October 2023 and has held significant roles at Avantax® and Alsco in the past, including Board Director and Chair of the Audit Committee. Previous positions also include CEO at BRACE Industrial Group, Service Champ, and RecoverCare LLC, as well as President at Alcoa’s Oil and Gas division. Zappone's educational background includes a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
