Founded in 2012, SunEast Development is a privately held solar energy development company that has partnered with recognized leaders in the renewable energy industry. Previous and current development partners include well-known investment funds, Fortune 10 utility subsidiaries, and major international utilities. SunEast extensive experience across the development life cycle, including site acquisition, permitting, community relations, offtake contracting and project engineering. We are particularly experienced in negotiating interconnection agreements, power purchase agreements and engineering, procurement and construction contracts in a variety of markets. SunEast is managing the development of over 800 MWs of solar projects in the eastern U.S. This includes the full spectrum of the solar development process including strategic site assessment, land origination, project design, interconnection, permitting, offtake contracting, and site engineering for solar projects ranging from 2 MWs to 140 MWs in the New York ISO, ISO New England and the PJM Interconnection markets. SunEast has offices in Old Saybrook, CT and Malvern, PA.
