Daniel Puerta Diaz

Daniel Puerta Diaz has a diverse work experience in various engineering and management roles. Daniel is currently working as a Production Manager at Sunflower Labs since January 2022. Prior to that, they were a Co-Founder and Head of Production and Supply Chain at Almer Technologies from May 2021. Daniel also owned and operated their own company, Puerta Engineering, from January 2021.

Daniel has experience in global manufacturing engineering and new product introduction at Varian Medical System from January 2021 to December 2021. Daniel was responsible for managing the development and implementation process of the company's products and services, coordinating cross-functional teams, and monitoring project timelines and budgets.

Before that, they served as the Head of Product Development and Manufacturing for Medical Devices at MyoSwiss AG from January 2019 to January 2021. Daniel led the product development and design processes, managed departmental activities, and planned and executed design verification and validation activities.

Daniel also worked as a Senior Product Development Engineer for Protective Equipment at Scott Sports SA from March 2015 to December 2018. Prior to that, they were a Design Engineer and Product Development Lead at the Interior Division department of FACC AG from October 2012 to February 2015. Daniel was responsible for the development, construction, and collaboration with product development and manufacturing sectors.

Earlier in their career, Daniel worked as a Manufacturing and Logistic Engineer of plastic injection molding at SUMASA from February 2012 to October 2012, and as a Technical Maintenance Engineer at SUMASA from September 2005 to June 2006. Daniel also gained research and development experience as a Research and Development Assistant at Riga Technical University from November 2011 to February 2012. Overall, Daniel Puerta Diaz has a strong background in engineering, project management, and leadership roles in various industries.

Daniel Puerta Diaz has a diverse education history. Daniel obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering and Structures from Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio, which they pursued from 2005 to 2012. In 2014, Daniel completed an Associate's Degree in Technical Operations Management from La Salle BCN.

Daniel also pursued additional certifications and skill development. In 2012, they completed a program in Expert Design using Catia V5-R19 at Carman Consultory, which enhanced their expertise in Engineering Design. Furthermore, Daniel obtained a certification in Supply Chain Logistics from Rutgers Business School in January 2020.

Before their academic pursuits, Daniel attended Technical School Don Bosco from 2004 to 2006, where they gained knowledge and skills in Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology, specifically focusing on the installation and maintenance of industrial equipment.
