Sunflower Therapeutics
Sophie Lee is a Senior Research Associate at Sunflower Therapeutics with expertise in protein expression and characterization. Since July 2021, Sophie has led projects focused on improving culture media for enhanced protein stability and titers, developed data processing templates in R, and designed bioreactor campaigns for multiple molecules while mentoring junior research associates. Previously, as a Research Associate, Sophie supported various contract research projects and played a key role in developing strains of Komagataella phaffii for recombinant protein expression. Sophie's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Colby College and prior research experience in institutions such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Boston Children's Hospital.
