Sébastien Duquet

Sébastien joined SunFunder in July 2021 as Chief Commercial Officer, leading work on the new Gigaton Empowerment Fund. He was previously Chief Investment Officer at Symbiotics, where he supervised SICAV funds ($1.8bn AUM). Prior to that, he was CEO of Oxus, a microfinance company with 1,000 staff worldwide, including in Africa and Asia. Before that he managed responsAbility’s office in France and oversaw debt investments in Eastern Europe, Middle East, Caucasus and Central Asia and helped develop new funds, including the Global Climate Partnership Fund. Sébastien has a diploma from EDHEC and also teaches at Sciences Po and EDHEC.
