Christopher Jones has a diverse work experience. Christopher started their career at Best Buy as a Sales Associate in October 2017 and worked there until March 2018. Christopher then joined Purdue University as a Student Cook from August 2018 to March 2019. Following that, they worked at DICK'S Sporting Goods as a Footwear Associate for a brief period from May 2019 to July 2019.

In 2020, Christopher joined the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) as a Biological Science Aid. During their tenure, they led a team that discovered a new pathogen affecting soybean root development, which was then published.
