Aria Alizadeh

Aria Alizadeh's work experience includes a role as a Junior Project Manager at SunGrid starting in January 2023. In this role, they manage project execution and design for the construction of a 2-hour, 20MW Battery Energy Storage System in a remote location with extreme climate conditions. They also assist the director in managing relations with customers, engineering teams, and vendors, and provide project status updates to stakeholders.

Prior to this, Aria worked as a Project Coordinator at SunGrid from May 2022 to January 2023.

They also have experience as a Field Engineer at Primoris Services Corporation from March 2019 to June 2020. In this role, they managed craft personnel and subcontractors, ensured the accuracy and timeliness of engineering tasks, and prepared change order requests.

Aria has research experience as a Research Assistant, Student Researcher, and Engineering Tutor at the University of Colorado Boulder from May 2018 to February 2020. They also worked as a Teacher Assistant - Tutor at Lake Superior State University from January 2016 to May 2017.

Additionally, Aria gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Momtaz Payam Co. from May 2016 to August 2016.

Aria Alizadeh completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Lake Superior State University from 2014 to 2017. Following that, Aria pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energies from the University of Colorado Boulder from 2017 to 2018.

In 2021 to 2022, Aria attended Centennial College to obtain a Post Graduate Certificate in Project Management. Additionally, Aria has obtained various certifications including "Return to Work for Large Business & The Basics of Workers Compensation," "Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System," "Principles of Health and Safety Management," and "Safety Auditor" from institutions such as NSNY Northern Safety Network Yukon and BC Construction Safety Alliance between November and December 2022.
