Chayanika Das is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in the field of chemistry and materials science. At the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research in Bangalore, Chayanika worked as a Research Assistant from August 2017 to July 2018. Subsequently, Chayanika held various positions, including Humboldt Fellow and Adolf-Marten Fellow at the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung from November 2019 to June 2022, focusing on corrosion prevention techniques and semiconducting polymer-graphene nanocomposites. Chayanika also served as an Associate Researcher, innovating in the mechanochemical synthesis of metal-organic frameworks for electrochemical applications. Currently, Chayanika is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Michigan, working on overall water splitting and catalyst evaluation, and a Senior Research Scientist at SunHydrogen, Inc., focusing on solar water splitting and bubble dynamics. Chayanika achieved a PhD in Chemistry from CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory and holds degrees from St. Xavier's College and Banaras Hindu University.
