Stelios Ploumis

Stelios Ploumis serves as the Commercial Executive Director for EMEA, APAC & Energy Services at Sunlight Group, overseeing a €230M+ P&L and a team of over 350 individuals, while also building and scaling a new Energy Services business. Previously, Stelios was the Global Business Solutions Director at Sunlight, spearheading the company's transition to a service-oriented energy model. Prior experience includes roles as General Manager for Digital Twins & AI at CAE, where order intake increased by 47%, and Product Strategy Manager at Barco, guiding a $700M+ business unit through significant transformation. Stelios has also held various positions at TELUS, The University of British Columbia, kapaweb, and Artifact Computers, acquiring a strong foundation in product development, strategic management, and innovative research. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia, as well as a Certificate in Business Essentials from Harvard Business School.
