Mirko Jeck

Mirko Jeck is an experienced Media, Film, and Drama Teacher at Sunmarke School since October 2021, responsible for teaching various film and media courses, including IB Film and International BTEC Creative Media. Mirko has contributed to extracurricular activities by coaching rock climbing, establishing the Dune Film Festival, initiating the Film Club, and managing backstage for school productions. Prior to this role, Mirko served as the Institutional Advancement Visual Media Assistant at Hong Kong Academy from 2017 to July 2021, where responsibilities included creating video and photo content for communications and marketing. Mirko holds a Qualified Teacher Status from TES Institute, a PGCE in Secondary Drama and Film from the University of Sunderland, a Bachelor's Degree in Film/Video and Photographic Arts from LASALLE College of the Arts, and completed high school at Hong Kong Academy.
