Alissa Higuera, MSE

Alissa Higuera has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Alissa started their career as a Quality Technician at Action Fabricators in April 2014 and worked in this role for a year. In May 2015, Alissa joined Autocam as a Manufacturing Quality Engineering Co-op and stayed there until December 2016. In January 2017, they returned to Action Fabricators as a Quality Technician for a brief period of five months.

In May 2017, Alissa started working as a Biomedical Engineering Graduate Assistant at Spectrum Health Innovations until June 2018. Following this, they joined SunMed in July 2018 as a Quality Engineer and held this position until January 2019. Alissa then transitioned to the role of Product Engineer at SunMed and continued in this role until August 2021. Alissa's most recent and current position is Senior Product Engineer at SunMed, which they began in August 2021.

Alissa Higuera, MSE, received their Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Grand Valley State University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering from the same university in 2017. Alissa completed their high school education at Coldwater High School, graduating with a High School Diploma in 2011. No field of study was specified for their high school education.
