Nicolas CHÂTEAU

Nicolas Château has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Nicolas currently holds the role of COO/CPO- Director of Operations and Purchasing at Sunna Design since January 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Sourcing & Supply Chain Manager from January 2018 to December 2019, and as the Global Sourcing Manager from December 2016 to January 2018 at the same company.

Before joining Sunna Design, Nicolas worked at Alstom from June 2013 to December 2016 as a Senior Strategic Buyer, where they were responsible for developing the global procurement strategy for machining and switchgear systems commodity and managing supplier crisis and risk. Nicolas also successfully negotiated frame agreements with strategic suppliers in the MEA & APAC area, emphasizing localization.

From December 2010 to June 2013, Nicolas worked at Saft as a Sourcing Manager and Deputy Sourcing Manager, where they developed the sourcing strategy for high technology batteries and supported the sourcing of materials.

Prior to that, Nicolas worked at AREVA NP as a Lead Buyer from January 2009 to December 2010 and as a Buyer from January 2008 to January 2009. Nicolas gained experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management in the energy sector during their time at AREVA NP.

Earlier in their career, Nicolas worked at Royal Bank of Scotland Business as a Mortgage Transfer Agent, at Legrand as a Buyer Intern, at Societe Nouvelle Miroiterie GBM as a Buyer Assistant Intern, and at Terreal as a Purchasing Assistant.

Nicolas CHÂTEAU completed their Master's degree in Administration et gestion des affaires, général at IAE Limoges from 2001 to 2005. From 2006 to 2007, they pursued a Mastère Spécialisé Logistique Achats & Echanges Internationaux at TBS Education, focusing on Achats and Supply Chain.
