Anders J. Debes

Anders J. Debes currently serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Sunnaas sykehus HF since February 2024 and as Medical Director at Vestre Viken HF from May 2023. Previously, Anders held the position of Medical Director (Somatics and Rehabilitation) at Helse Sør-Øst RHF until May 2023 and served as Chief Medical Officer and Acting Hospital Director at Vestre Viken HF from October 2015 to June 2021. As a Clinical Researcher, Anders focused on urologic cancers, diagnosis, and treatment, while also working as a Consultant Urologist overseeing projects related to patient safety and prostate cancer detection. Additionally, roles included Medical Advisor at Photocure and Consultant Speaker for Astellas Pharma. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Surgical Education from the University of Oslo and an MD from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway.
