Alice Barat has extensive experience in the ecommerce and digital transformation field. Alice'smost recent position was as the Director of Ecommerce and Digital Performance at SUNNAMUSK, starting in August 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director of Digital Transformation and Product at Elvi from June 2017 to July 2020. In this role, they led the B2C and B2B ecommerce, digital transformation, marketing strategy, customer acquisition, international trading strategy, commercial partnerships, and market expansion.
Before joining Elvi, Alice worked at Motorola as the EMEA/NA Head of Ecommerce and Digital from December 2013 to May 2017. During their time there, they were responsible for the growth of EMEA/NA B2C and B2B online sales and managed a cross-functional team and partner network. Alice also oversaw all aspects of the online store, including business planning, supply chain/operations, trade, content development, customer retention, reward/loyalty, and web technologies.
Prior to Motorola, Alice served as the Global Principal Consultant for Customer Insight and Digital Transformation at Tryzens from December 2011 to November 2013. In this role, they developed best practice online retail operations and worked on various international and UK ecommerce projects for clients such as Harrods, Selfridges, JD sports, and Thomas Cook, among others. Alice focused on overall ecommerce strategy, including the ecommerce platform, digital transformation, mobile site, trading acquisitions marketing, supply chain, and localization.
Before Tryzens, Alice held the position of Senior Ecommerce and Multichannel Professional at Monsoon Accessorize from July 2008 to November 2011. Alice was responsible for the development and delivery of the multi-channel sales growth plan and the launch of a new platform for both Europe and the UK. Alice also led the planning and processes of online merchandise, promotion, and photography to maximize site usability and brand awareness.
Alice began their career in the ecommerce field as a Senior Online Multichannel Trading Manager at Carphone Warehouse (now Currys plc) from September 2003 to June 2008. In this role, they managed the planning process for online trading, website, offline, and digital marketing teams to improve conversion value and implement a multi-channel strategy.
Alice'searlier experience includes a role as Senior Merchandise and Category Manager at Tie Rack from November 2000 to August 2003, where they provided commercial support, managed an entire division, and determined the sales and marketing strategy for the division. Alice also managed the commercial planning for an international franchis business across Europe.
Alice Barat has a strong educational background in business management and strategic planning, with a focus on omni-channel retailing, e-commerce, and digital marketing. Alice obtained their Master's Degree in Omni-Channel Retailing, E-Commerce, and Digital Marketing from Alliance Manchester Business School in the years 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed an MBA in Business Management and Strategic Planning at Cass Business School from 2009 to 2011. Alice also holds a BA degree in Business Management for Retail Industries from the University of London, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Alice Barat has obtained a certification in Professional Development for Internet Retailing and Multichannel Digital Marketing from Econsultancy in October 2013.
