Edison Chu

Edison Chu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Edison currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and acting Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Sunnies Studios, where they are responsible for the Eyewear and Makeup business units. Prior to this, they held the position of CFO at Sunnies Face. Before joining Sunnies, Edison worked at Ace Hardware Philippines, Inc. as the Business Planning and Analysis Head, overseeing financial planning, analysis, and business intelligence. Edison also served as a Finance Business Partner at Sandoz, where they worked closely with sales, marketing, and the Chief Finance Officer. Edison has a background in project management and corporate finance, having held various roles at Procter & Gamble, including Senior Manager in Purchase to Payment and Banking Solutions, Senior Manager in Corporate Finance, and Senior Expense Analyst. Edison began their career as an Intern Process Analyst at the University of San Carlos. Overall, Edison has strong financial and analytical skills and extensive experience in business planning and analysis, project management, and financial forecasting.

Edison Chu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of San Carlos from 2002 to 2007. In 2016-2017, they attended the Asian Institute of Management for the Leadership Development Program. Edison also holds several certifications, including a Certified Management Accountant from IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2010, a Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2006, and a Certified Public Accountant from the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission (year unknown).
