Chief St. John's Rehab Program at Sunnybrook

Amanda Mayo has extensive experience in rehabilitation medicine, currently serving as Chief of the St. John's Rehab Program and Physiatrist at Sunnybrook since July 2013, focusing on inpatient amputee and cardiac rehabilitation, outpatient amputee clinics, and acute care amputee patient consultations. In addition, Amanda holds the position of Associate Director at the Centre for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (CQuIPS) since April 2020 and has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto since June 2016. Amanda's educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Toronto, completed in 2008, a Master of Health Science (MHSc) in Clinical Engineering from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from the University of Guelph.
