Edward Draycott

Edward Draycott has a diverse work experience in various industries.

Edward started their career in 2012 as a Marketing/E-Commerce Manager at Itemex Corp, where they successfully redesigned and upgraded the company's e-commerce website, implemented digital marketing strategies, and created promotional campaigns.

In 2013, they joined Masco Canada as a Trade Channel Marketing Coordinator, where they developed and maintained marketing display plans, managed budgets, and facilitated communication with customers.

In 2014, they transitioned to the healthcare industry and joined Mackenzie Health as a Patient Access Representative, where they handled patient records, managed admissions, and demonstrated customer service skills. Edward also took on roles as a Pharmacy Project Support and a Bed Allocation Assistant during their time there.

In 2018, Edward joined Women's College Hospital as a Project/Application Coordinator, where they played a key role in implementing digital solutions, managing workflows, and fostering relationships with stakeholders.

In 2021, they joined Sunnybrook as a Solutions Specialist/Project Lead, focusing on clinical informatics and information services. Edward led the implementation of innovative systems to enhance clinical workflows and improve patient care in various departments.

Edward's most recent role is at George Brown College, where they are a Professor in the Health Informatics Post Graduate Program.

Edward Draycott completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Global Marketing from the University of Liverpool in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with Honours from Ontario Tech University in 2012. In addition to their academic degrees, they have also obtained several certifications, including the Business Value-Oriented Project Manager (BVOPM) Certification from BVOP in 2023, the Identity Certification from Epic in 2021, and the Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS) from HIMSS in 2020. Edward has also received various certifications related to information management, project management, and ITIL®.
