Payam Tarighi, MD, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Payam began their career as a Research Assistant at the Cardiovascular Research Center in TUMS in 1993 and later transitioned to the role of Researcher at the Sina Trauma Research Center in 1996. In 2000, they became the Research Director at the Sina Trauma Research Center and then went on to serve as the Director of Trauma Research at the National Research Center for Medical Sciences from 2002 to 2005. Payam then worked as a Health Administration Consultant and Analyst at the Medical Imaging Center in TUMS from 2005 to 2012. In 2012, they held the position of Research Assistant Professor of Health Administration at the Sina Trauma Research Center. Payam also served as the Editorial Manager for the Iranian Journal of Radiology from 2010 to 2013. Payam Tarighi, MD, PhD completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Medicine at Tehran University of Medical Sciences from 1991 to 1998. Payam then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from 2006 to 2011 at the same university. In 2018, they obtained a Business Edge for Internationally Educated Professionals Certificate from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
