Raphael Ronen, MSc, CFA has a extensive work experience in business development and commercialization, particularly in the medical imaging and devices field. Raphael is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Sunnybrook and is also the Founder and Executive Co-Director of INOVAIT Canada. Prior to these roles, Raphael was the Co-founder, Corporate Secretary, and VP of Business Development at Harmonic Medical. Raphael also worked as a Senior Commercialization Manager at Sunnybrook Research Institute and as the Co-founder and VP of Business Development at FUS Instruments. Raphael has also served as an Advisor at Segasist Technologies and as the Director for Commercialization of Medical Imaging Technologies at MaRS Innovation. With their background in life sciences and medical imaging, they previously worked as a Senior Commercialization Manager at the University of Toronto and as the Manager of Business Development for Medical Imaging and Devices at Robarts Research Institute.
Raphael Ronen, MSc, CFA obtained a BASc in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo from 1998 to 2013. Raphael also received a MSc in Medical Biophysics from Western University from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, they earned a B.A.Sc in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo from 1998 to 2003. In 2017, Raphael Ronen became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder through the CFA Institute.
