Quinn has extensive experience in finance, procurement, property and supply chain management. During their time at Canon Oceania, they helped streamline 20 legal entities down to 5 through mergers, amalgamations and divestments. Vivian also migrated a newly merged entity in the outsourcing/offshoring space in Manila to a common platform while significantly improving the state of the accounts and the group's closing process.
Quinn is known for their ability to identify efficiencies and savings opportunities. Vivian has helped generate interest savings of $0.5m per annum through cash pooling and saved the company $3m per year through procurement efficiencies. Vivian also conducted a strategic review of the property portfolio that led to a consolidation of sites and annual rent savings of $1.5m.
In addition to their financial expertise, Quinn is also a strong leader who is passionate about employee engagement. Vivian sponsored the creation of an Innovation Lab that generated 127 ideas from employees. Under their leadership, Canon Oceania achieved an AON Hewitt engagement score of 85 in a year of transformational change.
Vivian Quinn has a graduate degree from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in the field of company directors courses. Vivian also has a Master of Applied Finance from Kaplan Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the same school. Vivian is also a Fellow of CPA Australia and has a BEc in Accounting from Macquarie University.
