Carla Kirschenbaum

Carla Kirschenbaum is an experienced educator and volunteer with a diverse background in teaching and the arts. Currently serving as a Garden Volunteer at Elizabeth F. Gamble Garden since March 2023, Carla has been a Long Term Substitute Teacher in the Sunnyvale School District and a Fourth Grade Teacher at Cherry Chase since August 2016. Previously, Carla worked as a Docent for School Group Tours at the Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts at Stanford University from September 2013 to January 2024, and as a Senior Production Editor at Mayfield Publishing from April 1996 to April 2001. Carla holds a Master's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Iowa.
