Andrew Elm has a diverse work experience in the fields of business analysis and IT support. Andrew started their career in 1994 as an IT Business Analyst/Application Developer at the Minnesota Management & Budget Office. There, they played a key role in the development and maintenance of custom Oracle statewide Budget Information Systems. Andrew then joined Imation Corporation in 2001 as a Senior IT Business Analyst and later became an Application Developer. During their time at Imation, they were responsible for global support of various functions including accounts receivable and order management. Andrew also acted as the lead technical developer on a team that implemented Oracle Advanced Benefits and Oracle Training Administration modules. Andrew then worked at Donaldson as a Senior IT Business Systems Analyst, where they provided production support for Oracle R12 Procure-to-Pay finance modules. In 2015, they joined SunOpta as a Senior IT Business Analyst, where they supported standard Oracle R12 financial ERP applications and developed custom solutions. Andrew later became the Principal Business Analyst at SunOpta. In 2018, they created and administered HistoricTwinCities.com.
Andrew Elm completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota between 1988 and 1993. Andrew later pursued a Masters in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting & Finance, from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, from 2011 to 2015.
