Bernhard Suchland

Bernhard Suchland is an experienced executive with a strong background in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Sunotec Group since March 2021, Bernhard has previously held the position of Managing Director at Sunotec Africa from February 2019 to March 2022, contributing to the construction of Commercial and Industrial (C&I) and Utility Solar PV plants across multiple regions. As Co-Founder and Director of Business Development at Ofgen Energy from May 2017 to September 2019, Bernhard focused on developing and financing Solar PV Systems in East Africa. Prior experience includes leading Schletter South Africa as CEO from March 2012 to June 2017, where Bernhard was instrumental in establishing the company and overseeing the implementation of over 300MWp of mounting structures. Bernhard co-founded DelSol in October 2003, serving as Managing Director until September 2010, providing consultation in direct marketing and mass mailing services between Africa and Europe.
