Darryl D'Souza

Darryl D'Souza is an experienced professional in the pork industry, currently serving as the Executive General Manager of SunPork Solutions at SunPork Group since May 2016. Prior to this role, Darryl D'Souza was the General Manager at Australian Pork Limited from November 2007 to May 2016, where responsibilities included managing producer levies and government R&D funds for various projects aligned with the Pork National R,D&E Strategy. Experience also includes positions as Asia-Pacific Technical Manager at Alltech Biotechnology from 2005 to 2007 and research scientist roles at the Department of Agriculture and Food WA (DAFWA) and the Victorian Institute of Animal Science. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Meat Science and Muscle Biochemistry from the University of Melbourne and a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology from Monash University.
