Krishna Velaga

Krishna Velaga has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Krishna began their career in 1996 as a Graduate Trainee Programmer at Blue Chip Infotech. In 1997, they joined Metamor Global Solutions as a Programmer Analyst, where they played a crucial role in the migration of a time-sensitive, intense transaction processing system from a Mainframe/DB2 platform to a client server/Oracle platform. In 2000, they took on the role of Chief Database Engineer at Efuel Inc, where they designed and implemented an ER model for unifying various lines of business processes into one unified data model. In 2002, they became the Director of Information Technology at Masterminds Global Solutions, LLC, where they provided IT development, consulting, and support services to clients in multiple industries. In 2010, they founded and became President of Sunray Informatics Inc. Finally, in 2009, they founded and became Chief Technology Officer of Orbit Healthcare Inc, where they developed disruptive technology driven process improvement solutions with a core focus in healthcare administrative segment. Krishna also invented and architected state-of-the-art innovative APIs, inter-operable and intuitive cloud systems to empower healthcare service providers with RPA & AI-Powered solutions in Patient Intake, Revenue Cycle, Paperless communications and contactless Patient engagement.

Krishna Velaga is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from the Texas McCombs School of Business. Prior to this, in 2016, Krishna completed a Lean Six Sigma in healthcare program at Villanova University and obtained a Lean six sigma black belt in healthcare certification. Before that, Krishna earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University in 1996. Additionally, Krishna has obtained certifications from Teradata, Microsoft, and Oracle in 2011, 2002, and 2000 respectively.
